File Handles
A range of beech and ash handles for files, rasps, chisels etc. All our handles are hand turned. These items come polished and waxed ready for the buyer to drill out for the tang.
We offer a range of standard sizes as follows
Small file handles. Approximately 3 1/2 – 4 inches (9 – 10 cm) in length and 5/8 inches (1.75 cm) in diameter fitted with a 13mm brass ferrule.Price: £ 2.50
Medium file handles. Approximately 4 1/4 – 4 3/4 inches (11 – 12 cm) long and 3/4 inch (2 cm) diameter with a 15mm brass ferrule.Price: £ 2.95
Large file handles. Approximately 5 inches (12.5 cm) long and 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter fitted with a 19mm brass ferrule.Price: £ 3.25
Other sizes can be made to individual requirements on request.
Purchases are normally despatched in 2 or 3 working days from the date of payment. Normally despatched by courier.

Beech wood handles produce smooth handles which can be polished to a nice finish. These handles are made to be a more rounded shape to sit more comfortably in the hand. 
Ash wood handles tend to be less well finished because of the open nature of the grain of the wood. They are polished to the same high standard as our Beech wood handles but they will not be quite as smooth. These are shaped in a more square style.
